Curriculum
Children’s joy and happiness is a big part of their learning. At Fun Little Education Nursery, we encourage them to have fun as a part of their education, with child-led activities which are adapted to their abilities and interests!
We work within guidelines of The Early Years Framework (2009), Play Strategy for Scotland (2013) and Building the Ambition and Realising the Ambition (2020)
We provide a variety of play experiences (structured and unstructured) both indoor and outdoor to promote creativity, imagination, social and communication skills. We will follow guidance of Play Strategy for Scotland: our vision (2014)
Allowing children to grow at their own pace
At Fun Little Education Nursery each child’s individuality is respected and we follow your child’s interests so they can explore, learn and grow at their own pace.
Our unique learning environment is carefully planned and prepared to meet the needs of the child, and children have freedom within that environment to choose materials based on interest and ability.
Our team will follow your child’s interests and allow them to explore these at their own pace. We do this by offering a wide variety of equipment and materials for them to choose from so they can express their curiosity in a way that feels right for them.
Focus on the Natural World
At Fun Little Education Nursery, we are passionate about engaging children in their environment and the natural world around them. By combining learning with hands-on experiences, we hope to instil a meaningful connection between children and nature.
Nature provides endless opportunities for discovery, creativity and problem solving. Allowing children to interact with nature gives them the ability to learn by doing and actively exploring their ideas! Children are always thinking when they are in nature, and this creates real and authentic learning experiences that help children gain resilience and grow in confidence!
